“The Thorn,” a stage show described as “Cirque meets the passion of Jesus,” will bring its message of Christ’s love for humanity to the Peoria Civic Center Theater at 7 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 24-25.

A cast of 36 performers, including dancers skilled in performance arts, martial arts and aerial arts, will “convey the love of Jesus and let people know that they are welcomed into that story,” said co-founder and producer Sarah Bolin.

The show is 2½ hours with an intermission.
