Here are your Amen Peoria Midweek Prayer Needs. Please keep these in your family and church's prayer time this week and share them with friends on social media.

• Matt Wigginton has taken office as mayor of the village of Peoria Heights. Please pray for Mayor Wigginton as he leads trustees, staff, employees, and residents of the Heights. Also, thank God for the leadership of former mayor Mike Phelan over the past eight years.
• One-hundred eighty people took the oath to become U.S. citizens on June 13 in Peoria. Please pray for the new Americans.
• Heat-index values will rise into the 100s this weekend as temperatures get into the 90s. Please pray for safety for all those central Illinoisans who have to work in the heat.
