Peoria-area prayer suggestions for April 1, 2026

Here are your Amen Peoria Midweek prayer suggestions. Please keep these in your family and church's prayer time this week and share them with friends on social media.

• Carlos Martinez, 90, of Bartonville was struck by a vehicle near Bartonville Grade School on March 24 and died despite aggressive trauma care at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center. Please pray for his family as they grieve, and for all who loved him.
• Five adults and two children were displaced after a fire at their home at 2400 W. Proctor St. in Peoria on Friday, March 27. Two pets were also rescued. Please pray for the group’s housing needs and thank God that they weren’t harmed.
• This week’s 1 Timothy 2:1-2 prayer: Please be in prayer this week for the Woodford County Board, city councils, village boards, school boards, and other governmental bodies.
