PAACH offers support and community to local homeschooling families
Peoria Area Association of Christian Homeschoolers offers mentoring program, convention, other ways to help families, especially if they're new to homeschooling.

Jessi Ann Westerman reached a breaking point many parents have experienced all too well: the frantic, adrenaline-fueled morning rush against time – getting the kids to school, getting to work on time, juggling the children’s extracurricular activities, and wondering how long she and her family could keep up the pace.
After watching her children struggle in public and private schools, Westerman was about to have a powerful moment that would change the rhythm of the Westerman household. That moment came when she remembered her husband’s earlier suggestion: homeschooling.
“You know, I was intrigued,” Westerman said. “But I was scared and between the cost of private school and the toll timewise on my family, we just were like, we’re going to give it a try, and it’s the best thing we ever did, to be honest.”
