Iron Men Prayer Lunch offers men opportunity to forge relationships, learn and pray, routinely drawing 150
PEORIA—A challenge to a small group to chase a “big, hairy, audacious goal” has resulted in the Iron Men Prayer Lunch.
Brad Stegall of Peoria was among those challenged in a small group at Northwoods Community Church to set an “audacious goal” for using their spiritual gifts. The group was told that “we've learned everything that we needed to learn—now it was time to, to go into action and start growing the kingdom of God,” Stegall said.
Stegall’s goal was to fill the Peoria Civic Center with men and “have an event similar to Promise Keepers.”
