A: In a room of Northwoods Community Church in Peoria.
Heart of Illinois Christian Movie Central founder Rich Gerberding had connected with director Dallas Jenkins in 2010 when CMC spotlighted the Jenkins film “What If …” and they remained friends. Jenkins, who has family connections in central Illinois, arranged with Gerberding to bring his new project, “The Chosen,” to Peoria in 2019 for a screening and presentation in a room at Northwoods. About 45 people attended to see the first two episodes of "The Chosen."
